Mentorship Program

The TCEP Medical Student Committee (TCEP-MSC) Mentorship Program connects medical students with experienced emergency medicine (EM) physicians to provide guidance on professional and academic development while offering valuable insight into the field of emergency medicine. This program is an excellent opportunity for students to engage with leaders in emergency medicine, build strong connections early in their careers, and lay the foundation for future success.

Program Timeline
The mentorship program runs from January - December. Applications open in January, and mentor-mentee pairings finalized in early spring. 

Program Objectives

  • Facilitate career development and mentorship for students.
  • Increase exposure to the field of emergency medicine.
  • Provide support during the residency match process.
  • Enhance understanding of the practice and nuances of EM.

  • Transitioning from medical school to residency.
