TCEP Events
CONNECT Annual ConferenceCONNECT is TCEP's annual conference paired with the Annual Research Forum and Annual Business Meeting and Awards. This 2-day event is a chance to connect with emergency medicine leaders, gain actionable insights, and recharge alongside peers. The location rotates around Texas and usually is held in April each year.
Annual Research ForumThe Annual Research Forum is TCEP's showcase of scientific and academic research. Medical students, residents, and attendings can showcase their work and earn recognition at the annual CONNECT conference. Two winners (medical student and resident/attending) are chosen and honored at the Annual Business Meeting and Awards Luncheon.
Medical Student EventsTCEP's Medical Student Committee (MSC) host various events throughout the year aimed at educating and connecting current and future medical students interested in Texas programs. Past events have included the "Meet the Residency" series, Colloquium, and their own dedicated track at the CONNECT conference. Learn more about MSC events.
Networking EventsTCEP hosts multiple networking events throughout the year. Usually paired with one of the Board or Councillor meetings in September, November, and February.
