N95 Mask Distribution to TCEP members – over 300,000 masks distributed so far!

Working in conjunction with the Texas Medical Association, TCEP was able to acquire a large quantity of N95 masks from the Texas Department of Emergency Medical Services. TMA and the local county medical societies are distributing to primary physicians throughout the state. TCEP took on the challenge of getting the much-needed masks into the hands of TCEP members throughout the state.

TCEP notified members and began distributing the N95 masks in late October. To date, 300,000+ N95 masks have been given to TCEP members, as a member benefit. Distribution dates were set up for in-person pickup in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Ft. Worth and Houston, and others have been shipped. The only charge to those that were not able to pick them up, has been for shipping.

Several members have assisted in distributing the masks in their area including: Dr. Robert Greenberg, Dr. Hemant Vankawala, Dr. Theresa Tran, and Dr. Heidi Knowles as well as medical student Blake Pruitt. Dr. David Pinto stepped in as a surprise Santa as he drove from Austin to Plainview, delivering masks all along the way (Bangs, Lometa, Lampasas, Hendrick, etc.). Thank you to all these members for helping with this distribution.

Need some masks? Please email [email protected] to request some!

NOTE: If you have already received masks over the past 2 months from TCEP, please allow for other members to sign up at this time (unless you are in dire need for more). This is only available to current TCEP members.
