Government Relations Committee

REPORT
Diana Fite, MD, FACEP
Chair, Government
Relations Committee
In my many years as your government relations chair, we have dealt with various issues and I cannot remember a single time when we could not portray the "white hat" element in that issue as emergency physicians. We are the ultimate white hat specialty. UTSW Update
REPORT
Vinay Kotamarti

Some find the transition effortless, a few notches higher than their average science classes yet overall something perfectly manageable. Others find the academic rigor exhausting, every day a constant balancing act with seemingly one misstep leading to a self doubt that runs on a positive feedback loop. Regardless of where one lies in the spectrum, all can agree that medical school presents an entirely unique set of challenges...

Kaale, Kim, and Harkey have been instrumental in our success this year. I also wanted to take a moment to recognize the hard work our officers have put in this year...
